The position acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating commercial priorities into scalable solutions while fostering global collaboration, consistency, and innovation.\nThe role is accountable for developing reliable, secure, and scalable data platforms that enable reporting, analytics, AI, and decision support while advancing Ambu's global data strategy and supporting regional commercial growth objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nCommercial Data & Analytics Strategy\nLead the North America Commercial Operations data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and growth objectives.\nPartner with Sales, Marketing, Service, Corporate Accounts, and Commercial Operations leadership to identify opportunities where data, analytics, AI, and technology can improve decision-making, productivity, and business performance.\nEstablish and maintain a multi-year roadmap for commercial data, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.\nServe as the primary liaison between North America Commercial Operations, Global Business Intelligence, and Global IT to align business priorities, solution design, and enterprise standards.\nBusiness Intelligence & Decision Support\nLead the development and evolution of reporting, dashboards, KPI frameworks, and analytical solutions that support commercial performance management.\nEstablish standards for metric definitions, reporting consistency, and data transparency across commercial functions.\nDeliver actionable insights that support forecasting, performance management, strategic planning, customer engagement, and operational excellence.\nDrive adoption of analytics and self-service reporting capabilities across the commercial organization.\nCommercial Data Management & Governance\nEstablish data governance practices that improve data quality, consistency, stewardship, and accountability across commercial processes and systems.\nPartner with business stakeholders to define and maintain critical commercial data assets, hierarchies, master data, and reporting standards.\nIdentify data gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve data reliability and accessibility.\nEnsure commercial data practices align with enterprise governance, compliance, and security policies.\nData Architecture & Business Enablement\nDefine scalable commercial data models and information frameworks that support current and future business requirements.\nEnsure alignment of commercial data structures across Salesforce, ERP, service, finance, marketing, and other enterprise systems.\nTranslate business requirements into sustainable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, AI, and operational processes.\nPartner with Global Business Intelligence to align North America reporting and analytics capabilities with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.\nData Integration & Platform Enablement\nLead the business design and prioritization of commercial data integrations, automation initiatives, and data workflows.\nPartner with Global IT to ensure commercial data platforms, integrations, and analytics solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.\nEnable efficient movement and accessibility of data across systems to support reporting, analytics, and commercial processes.\nContinuously improve automation, efficiency, and usability of commercial data assets and platforms.\nCommercial Technology & Analytics Solutions\nPartner with North America business leaders to prioritize technology investments and analytics capabilities that drive growth, productivity, and customer engagement.\nAct as the business owner for commercial analytics and reporting solutions, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technology delivery.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and analytics tools that can enhance commercial effectiveness and decision-making.\nPromote adoption of data-driven processes and tools through training, communication, and change management.\nGlobal Business Intelligence & IT Partnership\nRepresent North America Commercial Operations in enterprise data, analytics, and technology initiatives.\nCollaborate closely with Global Business Intelligence to align KPI definitions, reporting frameworks, semantic models, and analytics priorities across regions.\nPartner with Global IT on platform capabilities, data integrations, security requirements, access controls, and technology roadmaps.\nCoordinate cross-functional priorities, project delivery, solution enhancements, and support activities to ensure successful execution and business adoption.\nPartner with Global IT and Business Intelligence teams to translate North American commercial requirements into scalable solutions aligned with enterprise priorities, standards, and governance.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, platform engineering, or related technology roles.\nMinimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams, projects, or enterprise data initiatives.\nDemonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.\nExperience developing and managing data integration processes, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data environments.\nStrong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, database design, and data governance principles.\nExperience partnering with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nUnderstanding data security, privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices within enterprise environments.\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.\nExperience supporting analytics, business intelligence, AI, and machine learning initiatives.\nKnowledge of API development, systems integration, and enterprise application architecture.\nExperience implementing data governance frameworks and master data management strategies.\nRelevant industry certifications in cloud technologies, data engineering, architecture, or cybersecurity.\nExperience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.\nProven ability to lead technology transformation initiatives and
