As part of the EndoIntelligence Solutions area in the Global R&D organization, you will work closely with colleagues across engineering, product management, operations, quality, and regulatory affairs to develop solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.\nAs Hardware Solution Architect you will play a key role in defining and maturing hardware solutions for our endoscopy platforms. Working closely with systems engineers, project teams, engineering specialists, suppliers, and technology partners, you will help ensure solutions are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with overall system requirements.\nOur teams work in a collaborative environment where open dialogue, technical curiosity, and cross-functional teamwork are key to solving complex challenges.\nKey responsibilities\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nParticipate in early-phase product development activities, including concept development, technology evaluations, and feasibility assessments.\nGuide the development and maturation of hardware solutions in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.\nDefine and maintain solution architectures for new products and platform developments.\nCollaborate across mechanical, electronics, optics, manufacturing, and software disciplines to develop integrated system solutions.\nSupport architectural trade-off discussions balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, risk, and cost.\nEnsure solutions are aligned with system requirements, architectural principles, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with suppliers and technology partners on technical evaluations, component selection, and solution development.\nContribute technical input to project planning and development activities.\nMaintain solution documentation and support architectural reviews.\nSupport development and verification activities by helping resolve technical challenges and identifying potential risks.\nSuggested candidate profile\nSkills and experience can be gained in many different ways, and we recognize that no candidate will match every qualification perfectly.
