The ideal candidate combines hands-on AWS experience with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation, along with a strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and modern security practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable deployments and automated testing.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate environment setup and configuration.\nEstablish and maintain observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and alerting for uptime and performance.\nTroubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.\nContribute to DevOps best practices and mentor other engineers on automation, cloud infrastructure, and reliability.\nWhat we'd like to see in a candidate:\nProven expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, EKS, CodeBuild, IAM, VPC, S3, and ECS.\nStrong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.\nSolid scripting and automation experience.\nDeep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.\nStrong knowledge of networking, cloud security, IAM, security groups, firewalls, service roles, and high availability architecture.\nExperience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, and GitLab CI.\nAmbush is a people first company where talented, thoughtful individuals come together to build meaningful products and lasting partnerships.
