To help us reach the next level, we’re looking for a Solutions Engineer/Manager to join our team.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nAs a Solutions Engineer / Solutions Manager, you'll be the technical lead on sales pursuits from first conversation through pilot. You'll show prospects what Ambyint can do, design solutions that fit how they operate, and make sure pilots deliver measurable results. You'll report to the Solutions Management team lead.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nGuide prospects through each stage of the Ambyint sales process, working closely with the sales team\nPrepare and deliver compelling, tailored product demos for customer meetings, partner meeting, internal marketing campaigns and industry shows and events\nExplain the value of AI-driven artificial lift optimization to everyone from lease operators and production engineers to production managers and executives\nBuild sales decks, technical collateral and business cases for active opportunities\nProvide technical input on contracts, RFQs and RFPs\nGather customer requirements, design technical solutions and define success metrics\nPlan and run customer pilots, including well selection, setup, KPI tracking and results reporting\nHelp move successful pilots into full commercial deployments\nShare field and customer insights with Product Management, Customer Success, Marketing and leadership to shape the roadmap\nQUALIFICATIONS\nA bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field\n5+ years of oil & gas experience in artificial lift, primarily rod lift optimization (plunger lift/gas lift is a plus)\nExperience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, production engineering or technical sales, ideally at a B2B software or technology company\nWorking knowledge of oilfield OT and IT, such as SCADA, RTUs/PLCs, rod pump and plunger controllers, historians, Modbus, and cloud or IoT data flows\nThe ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and address objections with credibility\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organization and time management across several opportunities at once\nLOCATION & TRAVEL\nBased in Houston, TX (hybrid)\n15-25% travel to customer offices, field locations and industry events\nWHAT SETS US APART\nAmbyint is a scale-up company, possessing all the exciting edginess of a start-up with solutions that are proven and advancing daily.
