By restoring the capability of our antiquated supply chains, we increase the country’s capacity to imagine and realize new systems, and make a physical world that looks very different from today.\nOverview:\nThe Materials Coordinator is responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming aerospace components, hardware, and materials. You will verify every shipment against purchase orders and documentation, ensure parts meet engineering requirements before they reach the floor, and own internal material movement throughout the shop from receiving through build completion.\nResponsibilities:\nReceiving & Inspection\nReceive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and conditions against purchase orders and packing documentation\nInspect parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable quality requirements\nReview material certifications, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation for completeness and accuracy\nIdentify, tag, and quarantine nonconforming material and initiate the NCR/MRB process\nLog all receipts accurately in the ERP/MRP system with correct part numbers, lots, serials, and dates\nCommunicate discrepancies, shortages, and substitutions to supply chain and production teams promptly\nMaintain organized receiving records and inspection logs in accordance with quality system requirements\nInternal Material Movement & Shop Support\nOwn internal material movement throughout the shop - from receiving and stockroom through kitting, staging, and delivery to the build area\nPrepare work orders by kitting parts and hardware and staging materials so builds can start without delay\nSupport cycle counts, physical inventory, and stockroom organization\nKeep the receiving area and material storage areas clean, organized, and safe\nQualifications\n2+ years of receiving, inspection, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T\nProficiency with basic measurement tools - calipers, micrometers, gauges\nExperience cross-referencing received hardware against purchase orders and accompanying documentation\nExperience logging receipts in an ERP or MRP system\nSharp attention to detail and high standards for accuracy\nComfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and every role matters\nNice to haveAerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing background\nFamiliarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or similar quality standards\nExperience supporting NCR/MRB disposition\nForklift certification\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\n$25-30 / hourly\nGold PPO health insurance with $0 deductible 100% covered by Amca,\nDental and Vision insurance 100% covered by Amca\nThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
