BAND:\nShift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm\nPay: Starting $19.00 with Shift Differential of $1.25\nPaid Tier Progression for demonstrated knowledge/training verification. Opportunity to earn up to $21/hr in the first 12 months on the job!\nTHIS POSITION HAS NO DIRECT MANAGEMENT OR SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nPRODUCTION ASSOCIATE (Formally Packer/Handler) assures by visual inspection that all containers and lids are manufactured and packaged according to Amcor Corporation quality standards and guidelines in a safe and efficient manner.\nKEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES\nRequired to adhere to all EHS/GMP policies. \nMaintain clean, organized work area. \nInspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Set aside products that are below quality standards. Notify Leads, Process Tech and/or Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position. \nComplete assembly of products by installing gaskets in lids; handles onto containers as directed while keeping up with the production machines cycles \nStacking/Packaging product per instructions that may vary with different customers requirements. \nPrepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels \nAssist with material handling and other tasks as needed \nAssist with line clearance and changeover functions. \nManage product flow through various types of automation. Notify Maintenance and Supervisor of any automation concerns. \nWhen the machine experiences downtime in production, the production associate will take this available time to conduct 5S of their respective area. Perform cleaning duties on cleaning checklist and/or tasks that may be assigned by the production supervisor/process tech lead. \nAccurately complete any required paperwork. \nMiscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor/process tech lead. \nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for the performance of this position.
