Oversee key procurement categories, including BOPET Films, driving measurable value through cost optimization, innovation, quality enhancement, service excellence, and risk management. Deliver sustainable business results by building and expanding procurement’s strategic contribution to the organization. Champion procurement priorities in Innovation and Simplification by enabling and sourcing innovative solutions, while standardizing and consolidating supply strategies across the AFNA business to improve efficiency and long-term value creation\nKey Job Accountabilities\nStrategy Development and Strategy Implementation\nResponsible for developing and implementing a cohesive, business-aligned long-term Category Strategy for BOPET Film across the region, aligned with the global strategy and business objectives.\nResponsible for the overall delivery of the category targets following the target setting process\nResponsible for ensuring delivery against the Procurement Balanced Scorecard measures for the category\nResponsible for consolidating supplier, market, category and internal business data and information to inform the Category Strategy\nResponsible for the communication of the final Category Strategy and Annual Category Plans to the relevant stakeholders the region\nManage regional implementation of sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/eAuctions) and strategic projects\nResponsible for ensuring the resources, information and tools are in place for project execution throughout the category\nResponsible for defining and measuring relevant key performance indicators for key suppliers in the category, aligned to the Amcor Supplier Performance Management Framework\nResponsible for leading innovation with strategic category suppliers\nResponsible for ensuring robust contractual arrangements are in place for the category\nResponsible for monitoring compliance and adherence to Amcor Procurement policies and procedures\nResponsible for ensuring internal issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner\nProvide input to Amcor’s acquisition strategies by completing the due diligence and integration activities relevant to the category\nESG\nLead the monitoring and reporting of GHG emissions data from suppliers in alignment with the BOPET Film GHG and Procurement excellence team.\nFoster partnerships with suppliers to secure and source raw materials with higher recycled content and/or with lower CO2 footprint\nResponsible for ensuring procurement strategies align with internal and customer targets for recycled content and carbon reductions\nLead initiatives to enhance Amcor`s sustainability performance in the supply chain\nNegotiation\nOwn key regional supplier relationships for the assigned categories; lead supplier segmentation and performance management.\nBuild strong relationships with key suppliers regional contacts in order to negotiate more innovative and beneficial contractual agreements and service levels\nManage negotiation process, content and results. Lead the negotiation team to define the desired outcome of a negotiation\nRelationship Management\nIdentify stakeholders; understand and interpret their current and future needs, and manage their expectations. Give advice and build long-term value partnerships with these stakeholders\nCollaborate closely with relevant departments to ensure understanding and compliance with key procurement strategies and policies\nServe as the key interface between Global Category Lead, regional procurement, R&D, and business stakeholders in the region.\nFacilitate regional qualifications, transitions, and material changes.\nFinancial Planning\nResponsible for the bottom-up aggregation of all category data across Business Group to inform the top-down target setting process\nOptimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and actively contribute to budget planning and cost forecasting.\nEnsure robust contract coverage and track adherence to agreed terms.\nResponsible for reconciling “gaps” between the bottom-up and top-down targets, and identifying initiatives required to close any such disparities\nEnsure that financial resource allocation is cost-effective and aligned with strategic and operational plans\nBuild an accurate forecast for category price movements\nReporting\nProvide periodic and ad hoc reporting and forecasting on performance against plan and potential in following up on KPIs and reporting on trends\nQualifications/Requirements\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a scientific/technical field required. Strong preference for CIPS or equivalent professional procurement qualification.\nExperience: 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related commercial or operational roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience contributing within matrixed and/or multinational organizations, collaborating across functions, regions, and cultures. Working experience in procurement or commercial disciplines such as category management, supplier management, contract negotiation, or cost/value analysis. Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives or workstreams, influence stakeholders, and support change initiatives without requiring direct line authority.
