Days - Starting wage $35.90\n· Works in accordance with plant operations’ safety and quality programs to provide a safe and quality minded working environment.\n· Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment\n· Perform calibration activities to ensure compliance with set industry codes\nModify and adjust process equipment and instruments to specifications\nResponsible for cleanup of wastes and debris resulting from maintenance activities and proper management of the wastes generated\nResponsible for notification to appropriate plant personnel or emergency coordinators if and when a hazardous material or waste is spilled during material handling activities\nTrain and assist other mechanics when applicable and collaborate professionally with production operators and other personnel.\nPerform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment\nCommunicate effectively at shift change with millwrights, supervisors, and operators\nTroubleshoots any malfunction on production equipment and facility equipment with minimum supervision\nTroubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery by following precedential steps\nInstall electric parts and hardware\nRepair and calibrate electro pneumatic assemblies to meet job specifications\nDiagnose issues with control systems and employ tactics to resolve them effectively\nResponsible for using Maintenance shop tools and equipment properly on all production equipment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement of operations and production\nMaintain knowledge of drawings, blueprints, schematics and inspection manuals\nFill out work orders and create reports for each task completed during the day\nResponsible for keeping the Maintenance Shop facilities and equipment clean and orderly at all times.\nResponsible for identifying existing or potential problems and taking appropriate actions to prevent or reduce production equipment downtime for corrective maintenance.\nAssist mechanical millwrights as needed for mechanical repair.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by department supervisor/manager.\n·\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nDemonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\n· Must successfully pass Berry Global Certified Electrical Program Test within 15days of hire\nPreference given to those with electromechanical education and/or experience in the trade within manufacturing\nProficient working with 3-phase power up to 480V.\nKnowledge of PLC’s and trouble shooting skills within ladder logic programs.\nResults oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.\nMust have excellent attendance and safety record.\nKnowledge of ISO, AIB uses and other quality policies.\nFamiliarity with Safety Data Sheets\nMust have good communication skills, both written and oral.\nProficient with the use of hand and power tools\nMust demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong teamwork relationships.\nMaintain and convey a positive attitude at all times.\nPositive attitude, motivated, good organizational skills and strong communication skills\nAbility to work with limited supervision\nReliable with a strong attendance record\nAbility to interface with employees at all levels within the facility\nSafety orientated with a continuous improvement mindset\nEQUIPMENT USED\n1) Hoists 16) Resin pumps\n2) Baler 17) Stretch wrapper\n3) Bander 18) Suspended wrapping materials\n4) Forklift 19) Electric Roll Hoist (Big Joes)\n5) Computer 20) Hoppers\n6) Carts 21) Screw drivers\n7) Roll Cutter 22) Pliers\n8) Resin silos 23) Markers\n9) Hyde or Jiffy knife 24) Allen wrenches\n10) Blenders 25) Scale\n11) Balers 26) Buckets\n12) Guillotine 27) Tool Pouch\n13) “Octopus” (hopper area)\n14) Clock\n15) Two-way radio\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
