And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.\nTo learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTube\nJob Description\nAbout The Role\nThe IT Support Specialist is a key player in delivering standard solutions that support processes at Amcor’s sites.\nThis role typically performs independently, requiring minimal guidance from leadership in day-to-day activities, despite serving as the primary IT point of contact at the facility.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nDelivery of IT services for a site or multiple sites within a ratio of up to approx. 1,000 devices (PCs, Servers, Printers, Local Network equipment) managed per FTE. \nManagement of IT Service Delivery activities at the site(s) including maintaining all user support processes, customer relations and IT asset management (procurement, configuration, repair, projects, local budget consulting, license management, security systems and phone systems). \nExercises discretion and independent judgment in prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. \nAbility to support (L1 and L2) for the Amcor standard workstation deployment and support. \nAbility to support (L3) for Server and Virtualization environment \nThis role demands a high level of problem-solving and communication, including providing updates on changes and projects, as well as implementing end-user training and best practices at the sites. \nEnsure operational activities aligns with global IT standards and security policies, advising site leadership on IT-related matters. \nProvides input on local IT budgets, aligning with Group IT standards and cybersecurity policy. \nIT Asset management \nEnsure computer rooms and IDF are properly organized according to the local standards. \nEnsure coverage of critical IT issues 24X7 at the sites, when/ if applicable. \nKnowledge and Experience\nTechnical education in computer science or equivalent experience/studies \nAny Windows/Cisco certifications are a plus \nITIL Foundations desirable \nAbility to multitask and handle high volumes in a fast-paced and demanding environment \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills \nStrong Troubleshooting skills \nFluency in English communication (spoken, written); other languages will be considered an advantage \nProject experience is advantageous \nGood knowledge in configuring, managing and troubleshooting Windows Server Operating Systems \nKnowledge of server virtualization \nAbility to define and to check a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and a Business Continuity Plan (BPC) \nGood knowledge of TCP/IP and basic Networking \nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
