And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.\n\nMust have excellent attendance and good work history.\n\nMust score a 74% or higher on the Mechanical Comprehension Test.\n\nCapable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 50 pounds).\n\nMust be able to work from elevated platforms and ladder lifts.\n\nMust be able to work overtime as needed.\n\nPreferred minimum of 10 years mechanical work experience.\n\nMust have reliable transportation and own tools\n\nMust have excellent mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.\n\nMust have excellent understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings used to troubleshoot equipment problems.\n\nMust be forklift certified.\n\nAble to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.\n\nMust perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.\n\nThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $27; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $27 and $35.\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
