And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.\nTo learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com I LinkedIn I Glassdoor I Facebook I YouTube\nJob Description\nSUMMARY: Position will be responsible to manage the production schedule and drive improvements in planning and operational processes; analyze forecasts and inventory changes; provide accurate and timely information to ensure customer requirements are met and site resources are optimized in most efficient method.\nRESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:\nUse MRP System to forecast production demand, manage customer forecast, safety stock requirements, and maintain desired inventory levels.\nMonitor the schedule and plan production on specific molds and machines.\nGenerate reports and analyze data to ensure optimal supply chain flow.\nProcess and expedite orders and communicate daily with Customer Service Representatives of any concerns.\nMonitor slow moving inventory and obsolescence and drive improvements to achieve inventory goals and reduce obsolescence.\nMonitor production value.\nWork with manufacturing, maintenance and support departments to improve production efficiencies.\nBalance current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities.\nRecommend adjustments to forecasts and inventory levels.\nPerform month-end activities (e.g.., close work orders) and prioritize rework activities as needed.\nPrioritize rework activities.\nSupport ongoing Plant ISO requirements\nSupport the plant and corporate operational goals,\nParticipate in weekly Scheduling calls, provide feedback and status updates, and facilitate changes to ensure efficient operations planning.\nAccepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.\nServe as back-up for Planning Supervisor, as needed, to oversee daily operation in the department.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n4 year college degree in business, supply chain management or related field.\nPrefer 2+ years experience in Demand Planning/Supply Chain management in complex, high volume manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPrevious experience with MRP systems such as JD Edwards, etc.\nExcellent oral and written skills.\nExcellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.\nStrong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.\nStrong analytical and math skills with proven ability to apply that knowledge.\nThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $60,000 to $67,500 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.\nThe salary range provided reflects the anticipated starting salary base pay for this role at the time of this posting and does not necessarily reflect full earning potential over the course of employment. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations.
