Control scrap. Monitor and identify raw material usage variances.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupply color and resin to assigned machines\nMaintain grinders\nGrind and/or dispose of scrap\nOperate machine in order to give breaks\nPerform color changes on assigned machines\nCreate production labels\nScan out of color\nMaintain the resin silo board\nCheck color chips for color match\nMonitor and control scrap and regrind usage\nReport scrap in detail\nFollows applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma/or GED required\n1-2 Years of production experience preferred\nForklift experience strongly preferred\nValid driver’s license required\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nTime-management and organizational skills required\nAbility to develop a routine essential\nAbility to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) necessary\nBasic computer skills strongly preferred\nAbility to comprehend the operation of a central resin system needed\nBasic mechanical skills and abilities required\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
