Reports status.\n Seeks and drives prioritization on jobs with production teams and quality.\n Develop a working relationship with the Setup and Production. Continuously develops interpersonal skills.\nSeeks effective methods & communication to maximize job thru put.\n Evaluates measurement requests and seeks clarity, prior to measurement. Drives appropriate documentation\nof clarifications.\n Utilizes plant resources to support work: Additional inspection, work overflow, and programming as approved\nby plant management.\n Writes CMM programs using MicroVu\n Writes Infinity SPC Projects\n Evaluates component attribute quality, prior to measurement and clarifies direction for issues.\n Conducts measurement studies for: measurement system analysis, first article inspection, capability, & other\nassigned studies. Utilizes Greenville Metrology lab to conduct testing.\n Identifies root cause and implements corrective action on measurement issues\n Writes summary reports of inspection. Documents appropriate comments.\n Continuously develops metrology skills: in optical gaging products, all manual equipment, basic programming\nskills, measurement analysis, Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing, and basic functional testing.\n Ability & willingness to work additional hours.\n Ability to prepare output inspection reports with measurement results and summary comments.\n Any other duties as assigned\n Able to lift up to 35lbs\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:\n Knowledgeable on CMM programming and use of a variety of measurement equipment preferred.\n Knowledge of basic statistics preferred.\n Required experience 1 to 3 years in a related position.\n High School Diploma\n Able to read, write, and communicate in English.\n Must achieve QA Level III training.\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
