Scope for this Operation Planning Manager role is a small sized facility with typically 200 or less employees and low to mid-level complexity.\nWHAT YOU GET TO DO\nInterfaces with customer service and sales functions to prioritize demand and ensure lant capacity requirements will meet customer expectations\nMonitors the scheduling of orders on assigned machines to ensure that we will mee the scheduled ship date to our customers. Communicates unexpected delays to Customer Service\nReviews the backlog on assigned machines frequently and works closely with Production to help balance the backlogCommunicates daily with the Production Supervisors on the current and upcoming schedule required for assigned machines. Create and maintain priorities for jobs, work centers, and run times\nOversees maintenance of inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements while maintaining minimal carrying and transportation costs\nEnters work orders into the schedule system/JDE\nMonitors progress of key orders and identifies delays\nWork with maintenance team for preventative maintenance planning\nResponsible for all planning issues\nWHAT WE VALUE\nDrives Vision & Purpose\nStrategic Mindset\nSets Priorities & Drives Results\nCustomer Focus\nCultivates Innovation\nAttracts & Develops Talent\nEngages People & Teams\nWHAT WE WANT FROM YOU\nBachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on business, operations management or a related field.\nAPICS and/or operations and supply chain certification preferred.\nA minimum of 1 years prior supervisory/leadership experience.\nThree (3) plus years of experience in a manufacturing role, a production planning role or a manufacturing support position, or equivalent experience in Production Planning/scheduling or Operations Management. Demonstrated functional experience in the related discipline of operations planning, material management and Customer service.\nLean six sigma training.
