Other duties may be assigned.\nFollow and support all Company safety, GMP and ISO policies.\nMaintain a safe work environment by following safety policies.\nPerform required quality checks and understand the quality standards.Quality of the product.\nInsure the correct boxes are used.\nInsure correct labels are being applied to the boxes.\nInsure correct amount of product is placed in the boxes.\nInsure correct product is placed in the boxes.\nReports bad quality product to Section Lead.\n\nMaintain good housekeeping.\nReads “Traveler” - Bill of Materials (BOM)Checks special instructions.\n\nMust pass electric pallet jack certification.\nWork on lines, LD 98 & 9, AG Line & Fume Line\nWork in the Packing area, lines LD 3, 4 &12, lines HD 12 & 21.\nPacking Area\nSet up tapers and change tape rolls.\nSet up and trouble shoot box erectors.\nSet up label applicator\nSafe operation of bin lift\nSafe handling of the bin gates.\nKnow pallet stacking formations for all orders.\nIn Line Packer\nSafely pulling of plastic and picking up scrap.\nHelp string up downstream equipment.\nKnow pallet stacking formation for all orders.\nSafe handling of hand taper and replacing the tape roll.\nManual box making.\nOperates winders\nUses a J-Knife safely to cut and tuck product.\nQualification Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh School diploma or GED, preferred.\nExperience in a team-work oriented environment a plus.\nWorking knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process desired.\nOther Skills and Abilities\nAbility to use and read a ruler.\nAbility to read and understand a traveler.\nAbility to document quality and weight on bag check sheets.\nLanguage skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and checklists.\nMathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nReasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
