Communicates the daily workload requirements and prioritizes the workforce to meet customer demand in the most cost-effective manner.\nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nSupport and promote all safety initiatives and follows all company safety policies.\nTo assure that the company’s quality vision policy is adhered to by all personnel within the department.\nResponsible for daily scheduling of Warehouse and Shipping personnel according to workload demand; must be willing to work overtime and weekends when volume dictates.\nPerform standard functions in Transportation Management Center (TMC).\nResponsible for scheduling Inventory Control cycle counts to maintain accurate finished goods inventories. \nMotivate and develop personnel to optimize their performance and their personal and professional growth. \nPlan and schedule customer orders to meet goals and ensure customer satisfaction.\nPrint orders, create bills of lading (BOL), process JDE documentation; sets appointments for inbound shipment and transfers; stage product and be proactive with picking customer’s orders.\nCommunicate with trucking companies, Customer Care, and inter-plant coordinators to maintain proper product flow.\nAbility to speak effectively with co-workers, internal/external customers, and truck drivers. \nTICS complaint and resolution shipping contact for the Monroe facility.\nCollaborate with freight companies to resolve issues (i.e., tracking, POD, etc.)\nFacilitate staffing for open positions and fill-ins for vacation periods.\nCommunicate frequently with other shipping coordinators and warehouse management.\nParticipate on TEAMS for quality improvement, cost savings, productivity, and safety.\nOther duties as assigned; including performing job duties from current position to entry level position.\nFollow First In-First Out (FIFO) operating procedures to ensure product does not expire. \nPerform other related functions and duties as assigned or required.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMust be proficient in all areas of Warehousing/Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control functions.\nKnowledge of and skill in operating various office equipment to include fax, copiers, printers and PC functions.\nThe ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; work well under pressure and meet deadlines.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n4 - 5 years experience in warehousing or logistics field; supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExcellent planning, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills.\nVery knowledgeable in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS), JDE, dc-link, and the internet.\nAbility to perform functional mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).\nAbility to adhere to Amcor's Safety, Health, and Environmental Vision, Policy, and Standards. \nAbility to stand, sit, bend, stoop, climb, and reach multiple times per day.\nAbility to work in warm, humid, and cool climates inside a warehouse. \nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes/boots, and gloves. \nAbility to operate a forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack; maintain a forklift operator license. \nPrimarily a day shift position; ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed. \nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
