Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant\nMaintain warehouse organization including but not limited to:Making room and organizing locations\nCleaning/removing damaged or disorderly product\nVerifying inventory and searching for lost parts as needed for shipments\n\nTaken and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment Courses\nUnderstand that professional conduct is expected at all times MyDevelopment Course - E-Mail Etiquette: Tone and Formatting\n\nHave the availability to work any shift and cover for vacations as needed\nPerform any other required task as directed\nLoad/unload shipments, deliveries and production trailers\nApprove or reject trailers as needed\nContinuously monitor and maintain system dunnage levels (slip sheets, wrapper film, empty pallets, etc.)\nMake and receive calls between departments to facilitate communication and conveyance of materials as needed\nCoach or redirect team members to ensure tasks are being completed\nSupport training program by monitoring all new hires for their first 60 daysMyDevelopment Course: Train the Trainer\n\nMaintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department requirements\nMonitor and coach employees to make sure that tasks are being completed as expected\nMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area\nCoordinate and ensure all warehouse associates get their breaks\nKnowledgeable in operating stretch wrap/shrink wrap machine\nWork effectively as a team member, and communicate any immediate concerns to the Warehouse Manager\nReview and inspect trailers as a final decision based on safety and ISO/SQF standardsMyDevelopment Course: Key Principles of ISO 9000\n\nMust have good knowledge of both finished products and raw materials, and will be able to read and understand incoming and outgoing orders. Must understand labeling and packaging processes\nProvide feedback to department associates concerning their responsibilities to safety and quality\nVarious other duties as assigned\nAUTHORITIES\nMonitor inventory control to maximize warehouse utilization\nRequest missing inventory to be removed by the inventory team\nRead and send emails to ensure complete communication as needed\nUnderstands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nProven ability to understand all DcLink, JDE, Excel, and any other in-house software programs implemented\nProven decision making and demonstrated respect among peers\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong PC and analytical skills\nStrong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously\nPIT Certification required\nGood hand-eye coordination is required\nPosition requires agility and consistent attention to detail\nMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holiday and over-time\nGood communication skills--verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate\nAbility to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the building\nMust be able to meet all the above responsibilities to perform the job\nOur Expectations\nWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
