Together We Advance your\ncareer\nJOB DETAILS:\nLocation: Cork, Ireland \nOnsite: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term \nDuration: Students must be available to start on January 15th and finish August 13th 2027 or start June 1st and finish August 27th 2027 \nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:\nWe are seeking highly motivated interns to join various hiring teams across AMD who support the testing and verification of AMD’s high-end Machine Intelligence products, PCIe IP verification, development of solutions to facilitate the future connectivity of AMD CPU, GPU and FPGA products, design and implementation. In the role you will participate in one or more of (but not limited to) the below assignments -\nCollaborate with senior engineers and/or designers to build and complete performance verification test plan, simulation test cases and models \nWrite scripts related to tracking and managing compute resources using Perl/Python \nTest regression flows written in Perl/Python/MySQL/PHP to support our project development \nReview new tools, processes and options to improve simulation performance, team efficiency and reduction of duplications \nSupport debugging, improving test cases/models and Verilog/system Verilog coding \nBuild test platforms and perform system level testing \nProduction validation tasks, testing the integrated hardware and software functionalities to ensure problem-free production \nUse software and other tools to engage in low level testing of hardware/software features, debugging technical issues and identifying root cause \nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nYou are currently enrolled in an Ireland based University in a program majoring in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field \nIf you have experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply - Programming languages and scripts such as C++ /Python /C /Perl /Shell / UVM \nVerilog, System Verilog and/or VHDL\nGood understanding of the digital systems and computer organization \nSilicon design - analogue circuit design and digital transistor device behaviour\nDevelopment and debugging in Linux / Unix / Windows environments \nOscilloscopes, volt meters, logic analyzers, multimeters and other lab equipment \n\nNote: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
