Together We Advance your career!\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:\nThe Diagnostics team is responsible for developing tests and suites that exercise and validate the hardware blocks for AMD’s processors. We understand the features that go into the HW design, and we have the software skills to program them to life. Once developed these diagnostics are used in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from pre-silicon verification through the production life. We are seeking a highly motivated Diagnostics Design intern to join our team.\nIn this role, you will gain software and hardware knowledge by your involvement in:\nYou will design, implement, and verify diagnostic tests used in processor qualification and production test suites for both internal and external customers.\nDebugging and solving HW and SW problems.\nWe will train you to analyze fallout boards to identify opportunities to improve test time, test effectiveness, and overall efficiency.\nYou will help resolve customer issues, including investigating and debugging diagnostic source code using advanced C++ programming in a Linux system environment.\nAssisting in ASIC bring-up and support activities for our latest data center/AI, gaming graphics, and embedded HW products.\nBuild and debug automation tools/scripts to assist with the above.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\n\nPursuing in a Bachelor's program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.\nIf you have knowledge of or experience with any of the following technical skills -Good knowledge of software programming (C++, scripting)\nFamiliarity with PC/system, GPU and CPU hardware architectures\nExperience with software development and debugging in Linux\nExperience with source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)\n\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
