Our Sovereign AI team partners with governments, industry, research institutions, and technology providers to help countries build secure, sustainable AI infrastructure and capability.\nTHE ROLE\nAs Sovereign AI Business Development Executive, UK & Europe, you will lead AMD’s sovereign AI strategy across the region.\nYou will identify and develop major AI infrastructure opportunities, build senior relationships across government and industry, create strategic partnerships, and lead complex initiatives from early strategy through commercial agreement and deployment.\nThis is a highly visible role at the intersection of AI strategy, technology, government, partnerships, and commercial development, with regular travel across the UK and Europe.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nLead AMD’s sovereign AI business strategy across the UK and Europe.\nIdentify and develop large-scale AI, HPC, data center, and infrastructure opportunities.\nBuild relationships with governments, research organizations, telecoms, cloud providers, data center operators, and technology partners.\nLead complex, multi-year opportunities from strategy through commercial close and deployment.\nBuild partner ecosystems and consortiums to deliver large-scale AI programs.\nBring together AMD Instinct, EPYC, networking, ROCm software, and partner technologies to create compelling solutions.\nLead cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, product, government affairs, finance, legal, and marketing.\nRepresent AMD with senior government, industry, and technology stakeholders.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\n15+ years in strategic business development, public-sector or enterprise sales, partnerships, or a related role within AI, cloud, semiconductors, telecoms, data centers, or digital infrastructure.\nExperience leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.\nStrong networks across the UK and European government, technology, research, or infrastructure ecosystem.\nExperience with public procurement, government-funded programs, consortiums, or public-private partnerships.\nStrong understanding of modern AI infrastructure, including accelerators, CPUs, networking, software, and data centers.\nExcellent commercial, negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.\nAbility to lead and influence across complex global organizations.\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience with sovereign AI, national AI programs, AI factories, HPC/supercomputing, public-private partnerships, or large-scale AI infrastructure.\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
