Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger - technology that moves the world forward.\nTHE ROLE:\nWe are currently seeking Procurement Strategic Buyer to be based out of our Nangang, Taiwan office to manager Cable and Connector supply.\nTHE PERSON:\nQuates Cable/Connector/thermal suppliers for Costed BOM, related NPI development costs and change history with Cable/Connector suppliers based on each milestone of design phase.\nManage raw material readiness status with Cable/Connector/Thermal suppliers, track and report key material shortage and co-work with function team and suppliers to pull in raw material delivery schedule, reduce supply chain risk.\nTrack and manage BOM and Part numbers on each milestone of design phase.\nRelease Cable/Connector FCST and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate with suppliers to manage/secure material delivery schedule.\nCo-work with Cable/Connector/Thermal suppliers to plan/perform risk management for material readiness.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWell knowledge of BOM structure, design process in Cable/Connector (servers/Rack).\nAdvanced analytical and communications skills.\nStrong multitasking and prioritizing skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft office applications and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.\nPlanning and Organization: Plan actions with well-structure tracker.\nAccountability: Take action proactively and timely until issue resolves.\nTeamwork: Works effectively across organizations to achieve company goals and objectives.\nDrive for results: Consistently goes above and beyond what the job or situation requires.\nDetail oriented: Pay attention to details for info accuracy.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nYears experience in the ODM/OEM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry.\nDirect experience in supply chain function is a plus.\nYears’ experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business/Industrial/Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.\nProficiency in English and bilingual in Mandarin preferred.\nProficiency in procurement and supply chain principles and skills.\nLOCATION:\nTaipei, Taiwan\n#LI-JW3\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
