In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOver 10 years of experience in System Validation and Hardware Design Validation\nStrong understanding of core architecture; experience in core validation is a plus\nFamiliarity with multiple operating systems and OS-based workloads/benchmarks\nResponsible for developing, validating, and optimizing workload applications across multiple platforms (Linux, Windows, VMware, and Microsoft Azure) to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability for enterprise and cloud environments.\n8+ years of programming/scripting experience in languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, and Python\nProficient in debugging techniques and methodologies\nExperience in software programming and tool management is an advantage\nExtensive expertise in board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization\nDeep knowledge of system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail\nHighly self-motivated and capable of independently driving tasks to completion\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nProgramming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python). \nDebug techniques and methodologies\nExperience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. \nExperience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization\nKnowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering \nLOCATION:\nAustin, TX\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
