The role oversees workplace services, building infrastructure, maintenance, vendors, budgets, and facility projects supporting a semiconductor R&D environment.\nTHE PERSON:\nA proactive and customer-focused facilities leader with strong technical expertise in building infrastructure, workplace operations, and project management. You excel in managing stakeholders, vendors, and budgets while ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant facilities operations in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead facilities operations and workplace services, ensuring safety, compliance, reliability, and service quality. \nManage annual operating and capital budgets, including forecasts, variance analysis, and corrective actions. \nProvide technical oversight for mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects from scope development through handover. \nManage consultants, contractors, and service providers against contractual, safety, cost, schedule, and performance requirements. \nMaintain operating procedures, preventive maintenance programs, asset lifecycle plans, and capital improvement plans. \nServe as the primary Global Real Estate contact for Singapore business groups, landlords, and relevant government agencies. \nPartner with Environment, Health, and Safety to meet AMD requirements and applicable laws, regulations, and codes. \nSupport business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, sustainability initiatives, lease activities, and contract negotiations. \nParticipate in 24/7 emergency support and travel up to 25%, as required. \nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nHas facilities management experience, including in a senior facilities engineering or comparable role. \nStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, controls, preventive maintenance, and computerized maintenance management systems. \nExperience in project scoping, estimating, tendering, design review, construction management, and contractor supervision. \nWorking knowledge of facilities regulations, EHS requirements, and safe systems of work. \nStrong budget management, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. \nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. \nRelevant facilities, project management, safety, or sustainability certification is preferred. \nLOCATION:\nSingapore\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
