This role will partner with Business Unit leadership and other members of the finance team to manage the accounting activities for the business unit. This includes owning all aspects of program and product accounting, contract review, internal/external audit engagement, SOX compliance, month-end close and financial reporting.\nTHE PERSON :\nThe ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a result driven approach, high sense of teamwork, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-moving environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPartner closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the execution and governance of marketing activities and initiatives.\nProvide operational and strategic support by identifying opportunities to enhance marketing proof validation and process effectiveness\nLead stakeholder engagement through recurring governance and operational review meetings to prioritize deliverables, address escalations, and drive execution.\nPrepare and present operational updates, budget tracking, expense monitoring, forecasts, and key performance metrics to leadership teams.\nOversee tracking and forecasting processes related to marketing proof identification and accrual management to support financial planning and business visibility.\nSupport financial analysis activities including historical spend reviews, customer/supplier account reconciliation, and operational reporting.\nLead and manage ad hoc projects, operational analyses, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by leadership.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process standardization, compliance, and scalability across marketing operations.\nEnsure adherence to company policies, SOX controls, and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nIdentify operational risks, process gaps, and opportunities for automation or optimization.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nFinance and/or accounting professional experience. \nPrevious experience with percentage of completion accounting. \nKnowledge and understanding of accounting/Financial systems. \nStrong communication skills and experience working with international teams. \nDemonstrated ability to effectively problem solve.
