This is an exciting role in the AMD Embedded Solutions Engineering Group based in the Dublin Ireland office. You will be part of a key engineering team developing software for next-generation networking and embedded solutions.\nThe role will involve working closely with the silicon team to refine the design, working to develop high-performance network stacks and to take products to release.\nTHE PERSON:\nThe ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.\nYou will have worked extensively at the hardware / software interface involving networking in some capacity, programming in C. To be successful you will have the ability to quickly understand a complex hardware and software architecture.
