Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDefines, plans and drives projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance\nPossesses a thorough knowledge of the principles of project management and canapply them effectively on small to large size projects\nHas responsibility for projects or processes of significant technical importance and for results that cross engineering project areas\nInitiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency\nCreates and maintains project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs\nProvides unique views of project status updates and facilitates cross development team dependencies and communications\nIdentify action or mitigation plans for issues or risksthat arise during the project lifecycle\nCollaborates with core teams and execution teams to identify areas that require special attention or escalations to identify corrective actions\nCollect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\n10-15 years of relevant experience in program management\nDetailed oriented, self-driven with a strong sense of pride and ownership.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team\nProactively involve team members in planning, decision-making and execution efforts\nPeople management experience is desirable\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to handle all levels of interaction, including executive level\nHorizontal leadership/Matrix management experience\nTechnical program managementand customer relationship management\nCollaborate in problem solving and mitigating risks with Engineering, Program/Project Management, Business Units and Product Management - both internal and external\nStrong knowledge of productivity and project tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master’sdegree in Computer/Electrical Engineering\nFormal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
