The right candidate needs to have a basic understanding of SerDes architecture, equalization principle, and characterization techniques. The candidate also needs to have experience in system level channel design, trade-offs factors for robust link performance in terms of SI/PI.\nKEY Requirements\nWorking between the SerDes IP team and the Server product team\nCapable of running IBIS-AMI model link level simulations\nUnderstanding PCIe specifications of different generations\nFamiliarity with Matlab, C/C++ programming, Python\nExperience with lab equipment for high-speed digital systems\nGood background of statistics and signal processing\nGood understanding of SI/PI basics for high-speed serial links\nHaving the skillset of PCB design \nEfficient in analyzing results and making decisions and recommendations\nExcellent technical communication skills (presentations and documentation)\nTeam player \nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
