The Systems Design Engineering team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.\nTHE PERSON:\nAs a Senior Systems Design Engineer, you will drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions. In this high visibility position, your software systems engineering expertise will be necessary towards Product development, definition, and root cause resolution.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDriving technical innovation to improve AMD’s capabilities across validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional technical initiatives\nDebugging issues found during the process,bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs\nWorking with multiple teams, and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time\nCollaborate closely with other technical teams\nDrive continuous improvement of validation methodology\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nStrong hands-on experience in post-silicon validation, server/system validation, platform validation, or silicon bring-up\nDemonstrated experience developing validation strategies, coverage plans, test plans, risk assessments, and milestone exit criteria for complex server or SoC products\nDebug techniques and methodologies\nExperience with large-scale system validation or server-farm environments\nExperience with board/platform-level debug\nKnowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy-\nHands-on understanding of modern server SOC architecture\nStrong automation/scripting experience\nProgramming/scripting skills (e.g.C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python)\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelors or Mastersdegree in electrical or computer engineering\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n#LI-CB1\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
