As part of this role, you will work closely with other firmware engineers, developers, and architects from various function teams (e.g., AGESA/GPU/Core team, etc.) to design and implement firmware across all AMD rack levels, covering pre-chip and post-chip phases.\nTHE PERSON:\nYou are passionate about firmware development with creative and effective problem-solving skills, a motivated, self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in fast paced environments. You have excellent technical communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, develop, debug, verify and/or validate firmware, software and/or hardware\nParticipant in day-to-day firmware development work \nProvide consultation to internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nBIOS experience.\nFamiliarity with x86 architecture.\nStrong experience with AMI or EDK2 Firmware architecture. \nStrong experience with RAS.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelors or Mastersdegree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\nLOCATION:\nNangang District, Taipei, Taiwan\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
