You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talentedindustry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology.\nTHE PERSON:\nThe ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWork with AMD’s architecture specialists to improve future products\nApply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts\nStay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture\nThe engineers primary development activity is to work on development of U-boot and OP-TEE.\nParticipating in new ASICand hardware bring ups \nDebugging/fixexisting issuesand research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work\nDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\n7 to 10 years experience in U-boot driver development or OP-TEE driver or Linux Drivers Development or embedded driver experience.\n\n7 to 10 years experience in C programming.\n\nGood System Level knowledge of ARM based SOCs.\n\nGood debugging skills.\n\nUsage of scripting and AMD (classic Xilinx) Tools like Petalinux, Vivado, Vitis is an as added advantage\n\nExperience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus\n\nEffective communication and problem-solving skills\n\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master'sdegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
