Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWork with AMD’s architecture specialists to improve future products\nApply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts\nStay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture\nDesign and develop new groundbreaking AMDtechnologies\nParticipating in new ASICand hardware bring ups \nDebugging/fixexisting issuesand research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work\nDevelop technical relationships with peers andpartners\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nLead and execute optical transceiver validation activities, including functionality, interoperability, performance, reliability, and compliance testing across multiple platform configurations.\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of PCIe architecture, link training, device discovery, and PCIe enumeration mechanisms for system-level validation and debugging.\nExperience with PCIe virtualization technologies, including SR-IOV (Single Root I/O Virtualization), is highly desirable.\nDrive platform bring-up, validation, and issue resolution by working closely with hardware, firmware, and software development teams.\nAbility to technically lead a small validation/platform team, define priorities and mentor engineers.\nProven experience collaborating effectively with remote and geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones, ensuring timely communication and delivery of project milestones.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system-level issues spanning hardware, firmware, and software components.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master'sdegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n#LI-NP1\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
