The Solutions Planning Team is looking for an experienced leader to scale the teams’ ability to deliver customer focused solutions for the next generationAECG Platforms.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPartner with siliconplanning and architecture teamshelpdefine features for next generation FPGA and SOC product families.\nCollaborate with market segment architectsand business leads tocreatecustomer focused solutions to address the complex needs of customers in Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Wired and WirelessNetworks, Testand Measurement, Medical, Industrial and Visionmarkets.\nWork closely with VivadoandVitisTools, IP, system software,and boardsengineering and marketing teamsto define and drive deliverables as part of the overall solution planfor next generation silicondevices.\nWorkwith product marketing and engineering teams to prioritize and align solution deliverablesduring releaseplanning processes.\nPresentsolution progress updates to executive and deliver solution, silicon, and customer application presentations tointernalmarketing and engineering teams.\nPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:\nExperienced System Architect, Application Engineer, or Technical Marketing Engineer/Managerwith in-depth digital system experience.\nAbility to understand a broad set of applications from traditional FPGA centric applicationssuch as wired communicationsto emergingapplications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Autonomous Driving, and advanced DSP processing.\nHave experience with AECG (Xilinx) FPGA products and exposure to Vivadoand Vitis design tools.\nHaveexperience withinterface protocols such as PCIe, (LP)DDR, MIPI, DisplayPort, HDMI, SDI, Ethernet, and JesD.\nAbility to break down large complex problems into manageable deliverables and be able to manage and prioritize requirements from manystakeholders.\nThrive in a fast-pacedenvironment at the forefront of new technologyand invention.\nBeneficial to have prior design experience with ASIC’s, FPGA’s, RF design, or embedded software.\nBeneficialto have Project Management experience, excellentorganizationalskills,and a process-orientedmindset.\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBS/MS in CS/CE/EE with significant relevant industry experience\nLOCATION:\nSan Jose, CA preferred.\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
