This includes strategic analysis for key customers, contract review, internal/external audit engagement, SOX compliance, month-end close and financial reporting.\nTHE PERSON:\nThe ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a result driven approach, high sense of teamwork, ability to handle multiple topics at once, excellent communication skills, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-moving environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nConsolidate / Coordinate quarterly close activities with finance team \nAmortization calculation \nContract review \nCreate slides for accounting reviews & financial results package \nStrategic deal analysis \nOwn exit call evaluation and variance analysis \nCreate and implement business mechanisms that are scalable to help the team make data-driven decisions \nBuild rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction \nPerform ad-hoc analysis proactively and present findings to senior leadership \nPERFERRED EXPEREINCE:\nFinance and/or accounting professional experience \nSemiconductor or high-tech industry experience \nStrong communication skills and experience working with international teams \nDemonstrated ability to effectively problem solve \nAbility to lead teams in a cross-functional setting \nAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint \nACADEMIC CREDITIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n#LI-RD1\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
