You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInvolves in in Floor-plan, Physical Implementation of Power-plan, Synthesis, Placement, CTS, Timing Closure, Routing, Extraction, Physical Verification (DRC & LVS), Crosstalk Analysis, EM/IR \n Extensive Experience in handling different PNR tools - Synopsys Design Compiler, ICC2, ICC, Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, StarRC, Mentor Graphics Calibre, Apache Redhawk \nInvolvement in not only Physical design, but also STA & timing closure, authoring methodology scripts in Tcl, Perl and/or Python \nGood knowledge in Physical design, STA, methodology scripts (Tcl), knowledge on Perl, Python \nHands on experience on 16nm, 14nm, 12nm, and sub-10nm projects \nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\n10 years or more of professional experience in the semiconductor industry \nExperience in FinFET & Dual Patterning nodes such as 16/14/12 and sub-10nm nodes \nHigh-frequency design experience \nExcellent physical design and timing background \nSynopsys Tools Experience Not a Must But Preferred \nMNC experience is a plus \nFamiliarity with all Design areas and tools and solid understanding of design/technology interactions \nGood understanding of computer organization/architecture \nStrong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details \nMust be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion \nGood teamwork and communications skills are mandatory \nExposure/understanding on RTL is preferred \nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering \nLOCATION:\nPenang, Malaysia\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
