Most importantly, you are constantly thinking of ways to make world-class software with reliability and performance.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, develop, and optimize GPU/CPU software for computer vision, image and video processing workloads.\nValidate new SW features before releasing them to customers. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software extracting best performance from AMD hardware\nDebug and resolve complex software issues across multiple layers of the stack.\nApply software engineering methodologies and AI tools to ensure robust, maintainable code\nDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners\nWork very closely with dev teams and Project Managers to drive results\nStrong experience with GoogleTest (gtest) for unit and integration testing in C++. \nHands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions for automating test execution and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. \nIn-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools for automated testing. \nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nProficiency in C/C++ and Python.\nExperience in video codecs, image processing and machine learning frameworks\nFamiliarity with computer vision libraries like OpenCV, FFMpeg, OpenVX etc.\nExperience with GPU programming (e.g., HIP, CUDA).\nFamiliarity with ROCm or similar heterogeneous computing platforms.\nExperience with open-source development and Git and feature tracking software (e.g., Jira)\nIn-depth knowledge of best practices in software development, including testing, profiling, debugging, documentation, version control, issue tracking, and planning\nQuick in learning new tools and frameworks\nExperience in CV domain Quality Engineering for testing and debugging end-to-end workflows\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline \nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
