In this role you'll be working on the foundational technologies underpinning the AI revolution. You will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from our experts and gain real-world experience developing software. You will be contributing to a software stack used by some of the biggest and most influential businesses in the world, that runs on the world's most advanced computing hardware, and that powers the AI models that are transforming the world around us.\nIn this role you will be helping us support our math libraries on the next generation of AMD hardware. You will be working with code in C++ and Python, and you will get hands on and dirty with our chips, learning how they work at the lowest levels.\nSpecifically, you may be asked to:\nDevelop and optimize software in Python and C++, by hand and with support of AI agents.\nDiagnose and debug problems individually and with other team members.\nCollect and analyze test and performance data.\nConfigure and support AI agents and other automated software systems.\nRequirements\nCurrently in a 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent.\nCompleted one or more computer architecture courses required for the degree program.\nCoursework on algorithms and software development\nProficiency in Python and C++.\nExperience working on a command line interface\nFamiliarity with Linux OS distros\nNote: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
