In this role:\nWe will assign you responsibilities in which you will work closely with our software engineers to build and maintain our software applications\nWe will provide training on the full software creation process, from design and built to testing and deployment\nWe will encourage you to build scripts that automate some of our software development process\nWe will help you learn debugging methodologies to investigate the root cause of software issues \nIn certain projects we may have your involvement in crafting technical/functional documents and reports as needed\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nYou are currently enrolled in a UK based University into a Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.\nIf you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -\nProgramming Languages: Familiarity with C and C++Software Engineering Foundations: Exposure to object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, operating systems concepts, and multithreaded programming\nDevelopment Skills: Experience with design and code development, Linux environments, and modern software tools and techniques\nMachine Learning & Data Science:\n\nExposure to machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and computer vision through coursework or projectsFamiliarity with ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, JAX, and/or Caffe\n\nSystem-Level Programming: Exposure to kernel development (e.g., Linux kernel modules, device drivers, low-level system programming)Familiarity with debugging and optimizing kernel-level code\n\nGPU Programming: Exposure to frameworks like CUDA or HIP for accelerating ML workloadsCloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure for hosting and deploying applications\n\nNote: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
