This individual serves as a critical technical point of contact to the business, design, platform validation and product engineering teams. Join us!\nTHE PERSON:\nAs a member of the technical staff, you will provide technical supervision or mentoring to junior engineers and influence others as a subject matter expert. A successful candidate is one who candrive technical decisions independently, has accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success. This role allows the opportunity to influence technical decisions that have a significant impact on multiple products or the product line.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCollaborate with design, validation, and architecture teams for content coverage, test plan development, validation, and debugging\nDevelop test program infrastructure incorporating latest Best-Known methods\nSolves sophisticated, novel,and non-recurring problems; initiates significant changes to existing processes/ methods and leads development and implementation\nIdentify and plan product improvement ( Validation ) activities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and resolve quality issues\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nExperience with being responsible for projects or processes of significant technical importance and for results that cross engineering project areas\nStrong hands-on experience in post-silicon validation, server/system validation, platform validation, or silicon bring-up\nDemonstrated experience developing validation strategies, coverage plans, test plans, risk assessments, and milestone exit criteria for complex server or SoC products\nDebug techniques and methodologies\nExperience with large-scale system validation or server-farm environments\nDeep knowledge of computer architecture, technical debug, and validation strategyis preferred \nExperience with scripting languages such as Python/Perl/Ruby, shell script \nProficient in Linux, Unix,or Windows OS\nStatistical analysis experience to identify and resolve problems \nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’sor Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering,or comparable disciplines\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n#LI-CB1\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
