As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s product, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leadingtechnologies to market.\nTHE PERSON:\nSomeone who can see the “big picture” and how everything fits together. Someone who works well with people from a wide variety of functional areas within AMD and externally with customers/partners.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrimary technical contact point for system/platform level power delivery solutions\nResponsible for defining the power delivery requirements for internal validation platforms, customer reference designs and “Made By AMD” products\nComprehends VR efficiency, cost, board area requirements, and solution availability in power delivery architecture requirements\nDefines and iterates long-term technical strategy and roadmap for AMD’s client and graphics power delivery solutions\nDefines and documents platform power infrastructure requirements for AMD’s Client and Graphics SoCs\nWorks with SoC power architects and power management architects to ensure that the overall power delivery solution for a platform is optimized at the system level\nWorks with 3rd party voltage regulator and power delivery vendors to understand the technical capabilities of their product offerings and to influence their future products to align with AMD requirements\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nPrior, recent years of PC, mobile, and/or tablet experience\nMust have experience architecting power delivery solutions for platforms\nKnowledgeable in the architecture of x86 based PC platforms\nFamiliar with the industry standards specifications related to power interfaces and power manageability\nFamiliar with battery charging and management\nRequires a mixture of Silicon and System Board Experience\nSimulation/CAD tools similar to Simplis, Cadence, Sigrity PowerDC, Power SI\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelors or Mastersdegree in electrical or computer engineering\n#LI-LB1\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
