This role partners closely with University Recruiters and Program Managers to deliver high-quality event execution, program logistics, and a best-in-class experience for candidates, interns, and new graduates.\nThis is a hands-on, detail-oriented coordination role ideal for someone who enjoys juggling logistics, supporting large programs, and ensuring every detail is executed smoothly during peak recruiting seasons.\nJOB DETAILS:\nLocation: Austin, TX\nOnsite/Hybrid: This is a contract position and will be hybrid (1-2-days onsite per week) throughout the duration of the contract to support in-person events and engagements. \nThis role will be employed by 3rd party agency.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCampus & Event Support\nSupport planning and execution of virtual, on-campus, off-campus, and on-site recruiting and intern events.\nCoordinate event logistics including room reservations, catering, A/V, signage, materials, and day-of setup.\nOrder, inventory, and ship campus recruiting and event materials to ensure timely delivery.\nCreate and manage event schedules in event management tools; communicate logistics, expectations, and changes clearly.\n\nRegister for campus events, conferences, and virtual engagements; ensure events are fully staffed and supported.\n\nTrack event registration costs and engagement expenses; support basic reporting.\nIntern Program & Engagement\nProvide logistical and administrative support for intern program events and engagement activities.\nAttend and support intern events on-site; proactively resolve last-minute issues to ensure smooth execution.\nSupport ongoing intern communications and engagement touchpoints throughout the internship lifecycle.\nAssist with candidate and intern “keep-warm” efforts, including coordination and shipment of materials.\nSupport onboarding logistics for interns and early-career hires, including welcome packages.\nOperations & Program Support\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date information in University Relations systems and tools (event platforms, communication tools, trackers).\nMaintain campus team and participant lists to support recruiting and intern events.\nSupport posting of job opportunities with universities, as needed.\nCollaborate with third-party vendors and internal partners to ensure successful event execution.\nShare ideas and provide input for future events and program improvements.\nAssist with additional University Relations projects as needed during peak seasons.\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nExperience supporting university recruiting or early-career programs (interns, co-ops, new grads).\nExperience coordinating virtual and in-person events.\nCanva experience is a plus (for simple visuals, signage, or program materials).\nStrong research and follow-through skills.\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
