This person will work closely with Designers, SoC Architects, Firmware teams, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure fuse programming, supporting new features with innovative fuse solutions, silicon bring-up across multiple product lines. You will be involved in all areas that impact the team including performance, automation, and development.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and maintain target fuse settings while collaborating with architecture, designers, firmware teams, product engineering, etc.\nSupport various Silicon lifecycle by providing fuse settings to various platform teams\nKey member to any Silicon Bring-up activities\nCollaborate with various validation teams to fine tune early Silicon to IP\nWork closely with product engineering for successful first fusing and work closely during various product phase\nCollaborate with pre-Silicon emulation teams with target fuse settings and work closely for any root cause analysis\nWork closely with Power and Performance team to support fine tuning the product \nLead Automation efforts to help optimize fuse infrastructure and validation methodologies\nCreate technical documentation, specifications, and validation reports.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals and digital circuit design.\nIn-depth understanding of System Architecture\nExperience with silicon bring-up and characterization\nExperience with eFuse, fuse repair, or non-volatile memory technologies.\nKnowledge of manufacturing fusing flow, various validation and test methodologies, root cause analysis\nUnderstanding of Power and Performance correlation \nExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with advanced process nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm, etc.).\nKnowledge of Fuse flow and over all platform interactions of CPU/GPU with other IOs\nStrong HW-SW co-development knowledge\nFuse repair flow understanding\nExperience with ATE platforms and production test environments.\nFamiliarity with EDA tools and semiconductor manufacturing flows.\nDesired Skills\nSilicon bring-up and debug\nRoot cause and Data analysis\nPnP knowledge\nAutomation and scripting\nFuse repair\nCross-functional teamwork\nTechnical documentation and presentation\nTypical Tools\nSolid programming skills in Python, C, or C++ \nSQL/Data Analytics tools\nExposure to systems architecture \nExperience running, analyzing, and system benchmarks \nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n#LI-RL1\n Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
