Work independently in a self-managing environment, prioritizing and carrying out routine and non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. A sound understanding of related engineering theory, principles and practices is used to analyze and resolve technical problems encountered.\nWhat will your job look like?\nMaintain Customer Radio Network Infrastructure and user Equipment\nBe proficent simutaniously across a multitude of technologies and systems\nMaintain a high proficiency in multiple computer applications and equipment specific software\nMaintain company vehicle and equipment inventory\nInvestigate internal and external customer complaints\nAct on network performance anomalies and alarms and track issue to resolution\nMaintain a high proficiency in the use of specialized, laboratory grade wireless technology test equipment and desoldering equipment\nDiagnose and repair Network and user equipment\nInterface, lead and provide recommendations to network engineering staff on implementation and optimization issues\nCode plug creation\nPerform Capital implementation projects, equipment configuration & testing, and bring into operation Radio telecommunication Services for our customers.\nReview Engineering Installation Workorder details and double-check for accuracy/omissions.\nExecute workorder physical implementation including physical equipment installation, configuration, and final acceptance testing.\nAs the local Bell field representative, WTechB is responsible for Coordinating/supervise contractors during radio installation activities on different type of vehicles.\nCoordinate with the technical service coordinator to ensure supporting resource availability.\nMaintain good customer relations.\nAct on Network Performance Anomalies and alarms and track resolution.\nMaintain a high proficienty in the use of specialized, laboratory grade wireless technology test equipment / soldering and desoldering equipment.\nAll you need is...\nMaintain Radio Usergear & Network Infrastructure equipment for both Bell Mobility Radio (BMR) Public Safety Radio Systems.\nPerform implementation projects, eqiupment configuration and testing, and bring into operation new services for all Radio Public Saftey customers.\nProficient across a multitude of technologies and systems, old and new. \nKnowledgeable and proficient in all technologies that are in service in their respective areas of the network.\nIncluded but not limited to: Motorola, Kenwood, Tait, Futurcom, Harris/Macom, Zetron\nProficient with network and user eqiupment, 2-way radio VHF/UHF conventional and trunked systems, P25 Radio Networks, Radio Frequency (RF) propagation, spectral interference isolation (internal PIM vs external sources), DC Power Systems.\nProvide emergency after hours maintenance and be available for on-call duty 24/7 as required.\nBA in electronics, telecommunication computer electronics or equivalent.\nPrevious technical experience with in Data Network and IP technology.\nPrevious technical experience with Trunking Network telecommunication systems principals and maintenance of radio comunication equipment.\n3-5 years of experience in radio industry including legacy systems.\nExtensive computer competencies and training including Microsoft office applications.\nValid Drivers License.\nObtain and maintain Security Clearance for Government Radio contracts.
