Reporting to the Head of Finance Sweden, you will take ownership of the financial reporting operations.\nThis is a highly visible role that combines technical accounting expertise with operational finance leadership. Employees have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and clients across multiple markets, contribute to meaningful business outcomes, and grow their careers in a specialist industry with global reach and impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the integrity of financial data through reconciliation of Policy Administration Systems and the General Ledger, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and reporting.\n\nLead financial accounting, month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements across Sweden and European branch operations.\n\nMaintain robust financial controls, coordinate external audits, and drive continuous improvements in governance and reporting processes.\n\nOversee treasury activities including cash management, multi-currency reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, and FX exposure control.\n\nSupport finance transformation, business integration, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with stakeholders across the Group.\n\nThis is an ideal role for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys combining detail-oriented financial control with a broader business perspective, comfortable operating in an international environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and taking ownership of complex accounting matters.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field\n· 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, financial control, or corporate accounting\n· Experience managing statutory accounting and month-end close processes across multiple jurisdictions\n· Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting standards, VAT, and tax reporting requirements\n· Experience overseeing accounting activities across several European countries, ideally including the Nordic region\n· Proven experience ensuring general ledger integrity, reconciliations, financial controls, and balance sheet reviews\n· Experience coordinating external audits and working with auditors and regulatory stakeholders\n· Hands-on treasury experience, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and FX monitoring\n· Strong ERP and finance systems experience, including complex reconciliations between operational and financial systems\nEven better if...\nYou bring experience from insurance, trade credit, surety, financial services, or a similar regulated environment.\n\nExposure to Policy Administration Systems, IFRS or Solvency II reporting, and multi-entity international accounting structures would be advantageous.\n\nExperience supporting acquisitions, business integrations, or finance transformation initiatives will be viewed as a strong plus\n\nAbout Credeq\nCredeq is a Stockholm-based specialist in credit insurance and credit risk solutions, supporting clients across Europe, Africa, India, and Australia.
