These are the foundational qualities we are looking for in our Access Control Specialists!\nEssential Responsibilities:\nMonitor and control the access of employees and visitors in and out of restricted areas by ensuring people have proper access.\nEnsure that prohibited and restricted items do not find their way in or out of the building.\nDiligently monitor your restricted area.\nProvide excellent customer service to all employees and visitors.\nRemain alert and aware of surroundings.\nExhibit excellent communication in every interaction.\nEnsure attention to detail.\nThe ability to work independently during your scheduled shift(s).\nThe ability to adapt to change within high-volume, fast-paced, and slow-paced environments.\nMinimum Requirements:\n Currently hold an active TS/SCI with Poly.\nYou must be able to work 1st Shift: (5:00am - 1:00pm) (SHIFT +/- 1 hour), 2nd Shift: (1:00pm - 9:00pm) (SHIFT +/- 1 hour) or 3rd Shift: (9:00pm - 5:00am) (SHIFT +/- 1 hour) shift based on contract needs; this work supports 24/7 operations, and you may be assigned challenging shifts, but it will be worth it!\nMust commit to working one (1) weekend shift every weekend. \nMust have and maintain a valid state driver’s license in good standing.\nHigh School diploma or GED.\nU.S. citizenship.\nCurrently live within a 75-mile radius of Salt Lake City, UT. \nRead, speak, and understand English language fluently.\nYou will need to be comfortable leaving your mobile device at home or in your car. The assigned work location will be in a restricted mobile communication zone.\nMust be available to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday, as determined by Amentum, per year.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands\nYou need to be physically able to perform all duties and functions as specified:\nYou should have 20/20 vision (glasses and contacts count) and close vision correctable to Jaeger No. 4 type test for both eyes.\nYou need to be free of color blindness.\nYou should have normal fields of vision and good depth perception, as defined by the Snellen chart.\nYou need to be able to have hearing which is correctable to normal level hearing with hearing aids.
