The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.\nWork Schedule:\nDay shift - 5 days per week, 8 hours per day\nEssential Responsibilities:\nReceive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services to eventual processing in SAP\nManagement of site cash and float requirements\nManaging the workflow of USD invoices through local approval and CONUS processing/payment\nManagement of site cash and float requirements\nPreparation of weekly and month end journals to corporate\nProvides a variety of administrative and date entry services\nReviews wires/invoices and allied tasks, as per daily planning\nAssists with improving AP processes in all areas of assigned responsibilities and timely report any issues\nProvides document management support to the department as required\nEnsure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace\nAny other reasonable duties as requested\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nThe position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally and participating in Site walks occasionally\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nBasic understanding of accounts payable functions\n2 years of related work experience in the accounting field\nStrong communication skills and the ability to engage with varied stakeholders\nExperience with MS Office operating system with extensive skill using spreadsheet & data base applications\nManage workloads effectively including adapting to changes, planning, organizing and prioritizing work\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nIt is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a minimum of NV1 Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or Secret (U.S.) clearance.\nEducation:\nMinimum Essential\nYear 12 completion\nField: Relevant or related discipline\nDesirable\nUndergraduate degree\nEquivalent demonstrated experience\nExperience with SAP operating system\nSTATEMENT OF WORK:\nAll personnel assigned to work shall be:\nAt least 18 years of age.\nAble to fluently read, write and speak English\nThis position is designated as a safety sensitive position.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
