# Aircraft Maintenance Planner

The Aircraft Maintenance Planner manages and coordinates aircraft scheduling, maintains aircraft forms and records, and performs quality management oversight on aircraft maintenance actions to ensure compliance. Essential Responsibilities: Acts as the aircraft scheduling focal point. Develops operational and maintenance scheduling requirements for all assigned aerospace vehicles, engines, and related support equipment into long range, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily plans to make efficient use of resources. Ensures the Production Superintendent and Maintenance Supervision are advised of maintenance capability, problem areas, and adherence to production schedules. Represents Maintenance Supervision in coordinating aircraft and equipment utilization, sortie rates and flying hour program with Operations. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of an aircraft Plans and Scheduling office in accordance with AFI 21-101 and other applicable instructions Utilize the current management information system(s) to maintain aircraft forms and records as required by customer.
