Note: US Citizenship required to obtain clearance.\nHigh school graduate or have an equivalency certificate from an accredited program, is required.\nMust possess a valid FAA Mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.\nMust be competent and knowledgeable in the repair and maintenance of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft and aircraft systems to include airframes, structural, hydraulics, fuel and electrical systems, and aircraft engines.\nMust be competent and knowledgeable in system troubleshooting, reading and interpretation of schematics, blueprints, technical manuals and FAA, Company, and other Directives.\nMust be reliable and demonstrate good judgment.\nAble to follow base, federal and Company procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials.\nAbility to meet required deadlines and maintain necessary workflow.\nAbility to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language and follow both verbal and written instruction.\nThe ability to comprehend/interpret technical data.\nPhysical Requirements/Working Environment:\nBe physically able to perform aircraft mechanic duties.\nAbility to move freely about the interior and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit.\nStand, squat, sit, walk, work with arms overhead for extended periods of time.\nMay be required to wear a respirator.\nPull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.\nOn occasions, individuals may also be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail, thus requiring the use of adequate ear protection.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrefer at least two years of experience working rotary-wing aircraft.\nUH-60 Blackhawk experience highly desired.\nCompensation Details:\nHourly Rate: $43.23Original Posting:\n10/08/2026 - Until FilledAmentum anticipates this job requisition will remain open for at least three days, with a closing date no earlier than three days after the original posting.
