Manages assigned resources necessary to accomplish the mission. Controls maintenance through leads and seniors. Responsibilities differ only in degree and are common and applicable to all maintenance functions.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nEnforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.\n\nAdjusts resources to meet production requirements.\n\nAssigns adequate supervisory coverage for each shift.\n\nManages the special certification roster (SCR).\n\nEnsures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.\n\nReviews and evaluates management and production effectiveness. Analyzes personnel and equipment performance history using QA reports. Initiates management actions to meet new workloads or correct reported/perceived deficiencies.\n\nParticipates in the maintenance planning cycle.\n\nEnsures only qualified personnel accomplish maintenance with the appropriate equipment and tools.\n\nEnsures compliance with safety directives, appropriate occupational safety and health standards, and applicable industrial safety publications. Those occupational training requirements that require documentation will be annotated on the appropriate records.\n\nEstablishes procedures to minimize foreign object damage and dropped objects.\n\nEnsures PRDs, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in the MIS. This includes maintenance performed in support of maintenance squadron flights.\n\nAdvises the production supervisor of conditions that may disrupt the orderly and controlled execution of the maintenance plan.\n\nPerform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.\nMinimum Qualifications Required:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nMust possess 5-8 years aircraft maintenance experience in the private sector or military directly related to contract performance or equivalent.\n\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.\n\nPosition may require travel.\n\nMust be able to obtain/maintain any company/government required qualification, certification, licensing, or security clearance.\n\nMust be able to work any assigned shift or schedule assigned.\n\nMust have valid driver’s license.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Management is preferred.\n\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nTypical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
