If no A&P, shall have a minimum of five years’ experience as an aircraft inspector on the Mission Design Series (MDS) airframe they will be inspecting.\nMust hold a valid (current) FAA Inspection Authorization (IA). If no IA, shall have a minimum of five years’ experience as an aircraft inspector on the Mission Design Series (MDS) airframe they will be inspecting.\nMust have satisfactorily completed the 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course (formerly BNCOC), AMOC, or possess a Federal aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P).\nMust have Security Clearance appropriate to the level required for the work.\nBroad working knowledge of aircraft maintenance, inspection techniques, FAA regulations, and technical publications.\nWorking knowledge of aircraft safety requirements and how to operate portable firefighting equipment.\nAbility to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications.\nExceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required.\nDetailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.\nAble to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.\nBasic computer data entry skills required for use of maintenance and logistics databases.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.\nIf assigned to flight duty, shall possess a current, valid ARMY or FAA Third Class Medical Certificate and meet the qualifications in AR 95-20.\nMust meet qualifications for performing UH-60 Weight & Balance entries.\nMWO - Travel as needed.\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.\nPreferred/Physical Qualifications:\nFrequently lifts parts and equipment up to 25 pounds.\nOccasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.\nMost heavy lifting is accomplished through the use of mechanical devices.\nWork is performed in Aircraft maintenance hangar that is moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
