Services engines and aircraft components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.\nMinimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\nValid driver’s license.\nThree (3) years’ actual and recent related experience in the field consistent with the requirements set forth in the contract/delivery order.\nAn A&P license shall be considered equivalent to three (3) years’ experience within the aircraft field.\nPosition may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.\nPosition may require travel.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of radiation.
